About Us:

Victoria University (VU) Polytechnic is the TAFE division of Victoria University and delivers accredited courses, apprenticeships, traineeships and customised training programs that link closely with industry.

Our plumbing courses are delivered in a modern, purpose built, specialty trades facility at the Sunshine campus.

About the Role:

VU Polytechnic has a vacant full time role for a Plumbing TAFE Teacher to be filled on an ongoing basis.

Your work will involve developing learning resources for our plumbing certificates, as well as training and assessing students, and maintaining accurate records at out Sunshine campus.

About You:

• Ideally you will have at least 5 to 8 years of industry experience, enabling you to successfully teach into our Certificate III and IV courses.
• Your great communication skills will be a key asset and use daily to teach out students and you will need to have a willingness to continually learn and develop as a professional trainer and assessor.
• You must hold a valid E Class (employee) Working with children Check to be able to undertake this role.

Salary and Conditions of Employment:

• This full time role salary range is from $83,505 per annum to $105,855 per annum, plus 10.5% superannuation and is dependent on experience and qualifications.
• Conditions of employment will be covered by the Victoria University's Vocational Teacher Enterprise Agreement 2019.
