Job Description:

The Project is based in Kurri Kurri which is 30 minutes from Newcastle.

Due to growth we are currently seeking an SMP Supervisor for our Kurri Kurri Facilities construction project in New South Wales.

We are requiring an experienced SMP Supervisor for the below tasks:

• 5-10 years' experience with site installation of structural steel, pipework and mechanical equipment (carbon steel, stainless steel and HDPE)
• Demonstrated experience leading a team of Pipefitters, Mechanical fitters, Boilermakers and Coded Welders.
• Experience with the installation of gas pipeline facilities, preferably compressor stations, power generators and rotating machinery will be preferred
• Demonstrated experience with assessing and implementing safe work activities in challenging and evolving conditions
• Work as part of a team and provide leadership to team members
• Be prepared to accept guidance and provide input to achieve the best method of construction

Qualifications:

• Structural, Piping or Mechanical Trade or a similar certified qualification
• Previous experience leading teams
• White Card
• Current Australian C class manual drivers licence
• Strong safety leadership skills
• Solid work management and planning work ethic
