The Opportunity

We're seeking a Knowledge, Learning and Research Operations Manager to join our team based in Sydney or Melbourne 3 days per week.

As the KLR Operations Manager you will oversee KLR operations globally, work with the KLR Director and leadership team to coordinate strategic and operational activities, and successfully manage and deliver all KLR strategic projects globally to achieve desired commercial outcomes. You will also help create clarity and visibility of projects and operations across teams and geographies, and support the Director in reporting up and out.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

Streamlining and overseeing the delivery of all operational and management reporting globally Driving and managing ongoing improvement, development, and implementation of KLR systems and processes Collaborating with the KLR Director and leadership team to prioritize areas of greatest potential and impact Supporting the group in reviewing its systems and processes and using a standardized process improvement framework Supporting the team to develop and implement meaningful analytics to track KLR service delivery Assisting with the implementation of core change management initiatives Working with the global KLR team on the design, development, and testing of new initiatives Managing the successful delivery of strategic KLR projects globally Managing project risks, issues, and interdependencies across the project portfolio Helping foster a high-performance culture and a culture of collaboration and understanding across the KLR units

To be successful in this position you will have:

Appropriate tertiary qualification. Significant knowledge and expertise in change management and business transformation. Extensive experience managing financial processes within a professional services environment eg budget setting; preparation of monthly reports etc. Knowledge of systems and business process re-engineering. Demonstrated experience in building strategic relationships and using influence to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to confidently get message across to senior audiences, presents with clarity, energy, confidence and enthusiasm. Able to make complex decisions to ensure the firm objectives are met and develops new, innovative concepts or original approaches without guidance from others Ability to exercise sound judgment on both business and commercial issues, demonstrates strong problem solving skills Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
