As an Analyst in the Corporate Finance team, you will contribute to future proofing our business.

Using your financial modelling skills and analytical insight, you'll provide information and analysis which are fit for Transurban's executive committee and board to lean on and make decisions, both on our existing assets and on future investments.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Ensure our business is fit for the future through the preparation of valuation and transaction impact related materials and reports for:
o current assets, ongoing development projects and our potential fu

ture investments

o corporate metrics, including capital structure and company de

fence strategy

  • Create, review, update and manage the financial models for new projects, financing or refinancing transactions
  • Work collaboratively with other areas of the business in the analysis of business cases, operational initiatives and advise management on the impacts to the Transurban valuation, capital structure and cost of capital
  • Get to build your project management and commercial acumen in the context of mergers & acquisitions transactions
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Degree qualified and appropriate professional qualifications
  • you may have completed your studies in areas such as Finance, Business/Commerce or other relevant fields
  • Experience with a top tier consultancy/ advisory or large Corporate
  • Experience in valuations and modelling (such as debt, tax and DCF), with an understanding of trusts and tax structures and transaction impact analysis Exposure to infrastructure models will be a bonus
  • You'll have an analytical mind enabling you to think outside the square and undertake appropriate reviews and financial assessments of projects
  • You're inquisitive and eager to learn, with the ability to grasp ideas and concepts within a toll road environment
  • Adaptable and collaborative, you excel in both teamwork and independent work
  • You'll possess high levels of attention to detail, with the accuracy of the information you compile so that your stakeholders can make the right decisions
  • You'll demonstrate a strong work ethic, thrive in challenging roles with enthusiasm, and exhibit high levels of motivation and drive
