To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, be impeccably well presented and possess highly developed communication skills.

The position will cover general reception duties, typing, making appointments, billing and receipting, switchboard operation, managing general enquiries and general administrative duties.


Your Skills and Experience

You will also meet the following selection criteria:

  • Previous experience in medical reception
  • An understanding of Blue Chip (preferred) or similar medical practice package and be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • The ability to accurately type letters and reports from Dictaphone and written notes
  • Preferred knowledge of private health funds and Medicare billing
  • Must possess a polite and friendly telephone manner and be sensitive to patients' needs
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and maintain a harmonious environment within the team
  • Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to details

Remuneration
Will be based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Caloundra Private Clinic is a modern healthcare facility providing a broad range of inpatient and day patient services. The Hospital is currently planning for expansion in its Mental Health services.
