This successful rehabilitation provider is looking for a contract Rehabilitation Counsellor to handle a return-to-work caseload, focusing on Vocational Assessments and case management within the NSW RTW scheme. This role offers great flexibility and autonomy as you collaborate with a team of highly skilled professional contractors. Experienced and confident RCs dedicated to helping clients achieve positive outcomes in health and work are encouraged to seize this contract opportunity.

Consideration: Ideally, manage at least 2 VOCs weekly and handle some Case Management. Additional tasks can be assigned upon request.

Your responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote assessments - Vocational Assessments.
  • Manage return-to-work cases for your clients.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with a robust employment services division.
  • Prepare detailed written reports.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling (with applicable registration & ASORC membership).
  • Demonstrate prior occupational rehab experience.
  • Recent involvement in NSW Workers Compensation cases.
  • Capability to effectively work independently.
  • Positive and client-focused professional with excellent communication skills in a remote environment.
  • Hold ACN & Professional Indemnity insurance (or willingness to acquire).
