Our Client
Our client is an important sector of the Australian Government, specialising in the maintenance of resource development and natural hazards, whilst complying with nation-wide requirements.

The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to evaluate existing workflows for potential improvements, ensuring their operations are as efficient as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct detailed analysis to align projects and solutions with Digital Earth strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a bridge between leadership and delivery teams, ensuring that our business requirements are translated into actionable evidence-driven insights.
  • Drive the creation of an updated Branch strategy, with collaboration and consultation from the Digital Earth leadership team.
  • Facilitate workshops to agree on requirements, priorities, and work allocation.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics roles
  • Excellent business writing and communication skills to effectively influence senior management decisions
  • Significant experience with science, information systems and ICT projects
  • Ability to handle complex and ambiguous problems and find solutions
  • Proven track record in eliciting requirements and acquiring subject matter expertise
