About the Role


Reporting to the Manager, this business has an open-door policy, and your guidance and opinions will be valued to help the business grow As a Leading Hand you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to the following.


Key Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning policy, and setting standards and objectives for company and team
  • Managing staff across projects
  • Responsible for the daytoday direction and management of team and directing and endorsing policy to fulfil objectives, achieve specific goals, and maximise profit and efficiency
  • Assessing changing situations and responding accordingly

Skills & Experience:

Ideally you will have at least 3+ years in a similar role with an Australian Driver's License:

-
Knowledge of pavements or earthworks is essential and this would also suit an operator looking to move up
:

  • Taking direction, being selfmotivated and having the ability to follow safety procedures is essential for this role.
  • You must have great communication skills but most importantly be reliable, trustworthy and a hard worker with common sense.
  • An ability to learn quickly on the job will also be of high value.

Culture

Overtime is required from time to time and work is predominantly in the Central Coast region although please note - you MUST be prepared to travel away from home for work for a week or two every now and then to work on projects.

You will be supported in this role and provided with a great environment. This full-time position provides great tight knit team environment, company wide support and stability for the right person
