Bond Storeperson

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based in our Brisbane Airport location, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Bond Storeperson to coordinate stock movements ensuring all stock in the stores are replenished in a timely manner.

YOUR USUAL ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Coordinate inward and outward stock movements from the Bond Warehouse to the stores, including stock receiving and dispatching including palleted stock.
• Accurately pick and packing of outwards goods in an appropriate manner, with a sense of urgency and within time frames set down with the EIA screening point.
• Accurately record all receipts and dispatches via the computer system and any other log books as required.
• Ongoing stock replenishment of all areas in priority utilising Stock Replenishment Systems and VM/Promotional calendars standards as a guideline
• In conjunction with Accounts Payable, to resolve and receipt / invoice differences
• Ensuring all customs regulations are adhered to
• Maintain clean and orderly bond store
• Accurately conduct regular stock takes
• Perform ticketing adjustments
• To ensure that all of the required Occupational Health and Safety procedures are adhered to

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL BE

• Accurate customs compliance
• Achievement of sales targets on a weekly basis via a timely receiving of goods and support to store team
• Effective coordination and accuracy in stock receiving, storage, dispatch and ticketing

ABOUT YOU

In order to be considered you will need to have:

• Basic Microsoft Office (Excel,Word) skills
• A sense of urgency and the ability to translate this into effective organisational practices and time management
• A good level of interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also able to work autonomously (as appropriate to role) when required
• Ability to manage various competing priorities and ability to assess and resolve basic problems
• Ability to do all lifting and picking requirements for both inwards and outwards stock.
• Experience in working in storeroom/warehouse/bond
• Experience in providing exceptional customer service
• Very high level of attention to detail
• High level of numerical skills
• Current and valid Driver's licence.

• Intermediate Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word ) skills
• Previous administrative experience
• Knowledge/experience in Duty Free operations
• Knowledge/experience of retail operations

Monday - 6am - 2:30pm

Tues - Fri - 6am - 2pm
