Offsider for Appliance Installations and Delivery

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload whitegoods from the truck
- Deliver and install whitegoods to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Organize delivery routes and communicate with the truck driver and customers
- Ensure all whitegoods are safely secured during transport
- Use power tools and hand tools to install whitegoods (training will be provided)
- Provide excellent customer service and deal with customer queries and concerns
- Display caution to avoid damaging property or hurting yourself during the installation process
- Complete necessary paperwork and report any issues to the relevant authority
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies
Requirements:
- Physically fit as whitegoods can be heavy and require lifting
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools
- Display caution to avoid damaging property or hurting yourself
- Good organizational skills to plan delivery routes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Required to complete all work given to you
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings. Work week hours will average 3550 hours.
- Previous experience in the field will be advantageous
- An MR license and work experience using power tools will also be viewed favorably
