Responsibilities:

All-Round Kitchen Duties:

  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, cutting, and basic cooking tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

Handling POS Systems and Cash Register:

  • Process customer orders accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Handle cash transactions, provide change, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and procedures.

Customer Service:

  • Interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Take customer orders and address inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure a positive dining experience by delivering excellent customer service.

Cooking/Frying Food:

  • Assist in cooking and frying a variety of menu items.
  • Follow recipes and guidelines to maintain food quality and consistency.
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not required.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and food safety principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. (More specifically, Monday-Fridays from 11am)
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
