About the position

Are you passionate about turf management and eager to contribute to the maintenance of lush and resilient turf areas? Join our team as a Greenkeeper and play a key role in ensuring top-notch quality. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining turf areas, implementing sustainable practices, and achieving outstanding results.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks like mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold turf surfaces' playability.
• Monitor turf health and address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction using appropriate practices.
• Implement sustainable turf management techniques, including water conservation strategies and pest control.
• Operate and maintain specialized turf equipment for optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules and deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients to meet expectations and provide turf care recommendations.

Requirements

• Hold Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
• Experience with Cricket Wickets is desirable.
• Prior experience in turf management or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth patterns, and maintenance needs.
• Familiarity with turf care equipment such as mowers, aerators, and sprayers.
