About The Role
The Avenue Hospital theatre is a supportive environment that is seeking for an n experienced and adaptive Theatre Technician.

This role will consist of:

  • Supporting theatre personnel to prepare the operating theatre environment for procedures
  • Positioning of the patient, whilst respecting and ensuring patient safety
  • Dignity is to be maintained at all times in accordance with Hospital policies and procedures and legislative regulations.
  • In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager.

Your Skills and Experiences


You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a diverse team of doctors, nurses, pathologists, and non-clinical staff.


You will also bring:

  • Support Experience either in a medical setting or a patientfacing role.
  • Tech experience within an operating theatre will be highly regarded.
  • Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent will be highly regarded, though not essential.
The flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings will be key to this role.

Remunerations
Remuneration as per the EBA + superannuation based on experience and qualifications.
