The Company

Our client encompasses various enterprises, including processing and packaging, warehousing, food importing, distribution, and a role within the property division of its parent company.

With operations in Victoria and New South Wales, the group is poised to significantly impact the food industry within these regions.


We are looking for a National WHS Manager who will be accountable for offering direction and support on ongoing operational WHS issues and legal requirements, establishing proactive risk-reduction initiatives, and contributing to the enhancement of safety across all activities.


The roles and responsibilities of the WHS Manager will include:

  • Collaboration and assistance in the implementation of WHS plans and strategies.
  • Coordination and reporting of risks and incidents.
  • Assist senior management and employees in understanding their WHS responsibilities and accountability.
  • Create and document procedures as well as safe work method statements.
  • Conduct workplace audits of contractors to ensure compliance with workplace policies and procedures.
  • Create and deliver safety orientations, as well as take part in workplace incident investigations.

To be successful at this role you will have:

  • Minimum of 4 years in a Senior WHS position or in a comparable role
  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS or an equivalent level of professional in a comparable environment.
  • Great communication skills in fastpaced, handson environment.
  • Excellent consultation, negotiation, and facilitation abilities.
  • Working experience with various levels of leadership and a diverse workforce.
