The City of Parramatta Council is currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Advisor to join the team with a focus on event and festivals marketing.
Whilst working within the broader marketing and communications team on the development and implementation of end-to-end marketing and communications campaigns to promote the City, this role will lead the marketing, promotion and communication strategies and campaigns to promote the City's major events and festivals.
Individuals with proven experience in leading marketing and communications campaigns and initiatives to:- Develop powerful City and Council marketing, promotions, communications, advocacy, partnerships and programs to achieve Council and City goals and objectives.
- Positively position Parramatta as a destination of choice for people to invest, do business and study.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders with influence to achieve goals and objectives.
About the Role
The Marketing & Communications Advisor is responsible for creating and executing integrated marketing, promotion and communications tactical campaigns and initiatives that aligns with the City and Council brand to increase the positive profile of the City and Council, and drive consideration, visitation and investment to the City.
This position is responsible for managing activity to cross functionally design, coordinate, and deliver tactical marketing and communications that actively reach and target identified market segments to achieve strategic objectives.
Key components of the role include effective and efficient management of projects to ensure high quality and timely delivery of campaigns; manage the marketing and communications activities for Council and City which are data-driven and with a digital first approach; and establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal collaboration to achieve strategic marketing and communications objectives.

We are offering an attractive salary package from $ $116,493 plus 10.5% superannuation.
