THE OPPORTUNITY


Holmesglen's Centre for Energy and Infrastructure is seeking a qualified teacher to prepare and conduct industry standard training in Electricity Supply Industry at our Drummond Street, Chadstone campus.

In this position you will develop resources and assessment tools to support educational delivery and manage the learning process for students using a variety of teaching and assessment strategies appropriate to the diverse learning needs of students.


Salary:
$78,564 to $111,391 per annum pro rata + 10.5% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).

Time Fraction:
Full-time, 1.0 EFT***
Location:Drummond Street campus.

WWCC:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an 'employee' Working with Children Check.

Position Status:
Ongoing Appointment, with a 6-month qualifying period.

ABOUT YOU

  • Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
  • Ideally, experience as a teacher of vocational and/or higher education and training programs.
  • Experience in implementing latest training and assessment strategies to meet student and course requirements.
  • Appropriate industry qualification.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
