About the role

We are seeking a values-driven Truck Offsider who will provide an effective pick-up, delivery service, and preparation of stock whilst fostering and maintaining a high level of customer service.

The purpose is to enhance services and support the achievement of TSA mission.

You will successfully

• Assist the Truck Driver with pickup and delivery of all donated goods, in accordance with the schedule, and ensuring adherence to WHS manual handling procedures
• Donors and customers are greeted and thanked for their donations and assisted with donations.
• Donated items are offloaded at designated location or site, notifying relevant team member/s and/or customers, and ensuring items are safety stored for sorting, testing, pricing as needed
• Assist with relief truck driving as needed, operating the vehicle in a safe and effective manner, in line with TSA policy and procedures
• As needed or required, administration activities are undertaken as per policies and procedures

You will have

• Current QLD Driver's licence
• A national police record check is required
• Must be physically fit, this role involves standing for extending periods of time and push, pull and carry.
• Understanding of the value of secondhand goods with a wide knowledge on brands and goods.
• Demonstrated experience in warehouse role or similar
• Experience in retail and/or customer service environment is preferred

This is a permanent, part-time (22.5hrs per week) position located in Maroochydore, QLD. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Award Level 1.
