The Opportunity:

Our bespoke Mini Blues program is a school holiday experience for children in 3 & 4 Year Old Kinder.

The program provides a fun and engaging environment for children to explore new activities and make new friends. With a range of activities including sports, art, drama, and cooking, there is something for everyone. The program is instructed and supervised by our qualified staff, ensuring a safe and relaxed atmosphere for your child.

Our vacation care program incorporates fun activities with a vibrant atmosphere and community vibe. Our staff are more than just educators, they are what we call Camp Counsellors.


A Mini Blues Counsellor is an amazing type of human who performs a variety of roles within the Mini Blues program to ensure children are supported, happy, educated and safe.

It is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling jobs you can ever experience.

The Requirements:


Mini Blues is always on the lookout for staff to join our Camp Counsellor team at each school holiday program.


  • 18 years of age or older
  • An overall passion for working with children outside of a classroom
  • An interest and ability to effectively teach a range of activities and skills to children
  • Comfort working in a fastpaced team environment
  • Integrity and adaptability
  • A cleared Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • First Aid and CPR certifications, or ability to obtain
Staff are contracted for the entirety of each holiday program (4x 8 hour days), with wages in accordance to the Children's Services Award 2010 (MA

Contract length: 4 days

Salary:
$ $840.00 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • No weekends
