About the Role

The ICT Planner/ Scheduler will assist with the project estimation process, to provide business value proposition, establish a forward year delivery schedule (including resourcing), and support the planned and in-flight delivery of a range of projects.

You will support the portfolio delivery manager responsible for the delivery of the department's projects, to achieve an integrated planning and reporting view across project outcomes and delivery.


Duties

  • Working with business areas and ICT Practice leads to understand the type, size and complexity of requests
  • Plan and deliver a sequence of project delivery.
  • Assess customer ICT requests based on a set of criteria
  • Complete the planning process
  • Ideation to Delivery
  • Prepare a holistic view of department initiatives and progress
  • Coordination of resources to fulfil approved initiatives

Skills & Experience
We are looking for an experienced ICT Planner/Scheduler with the following skills that will contribute to the successful delivery of department Initiatives:

  • Ability to contribute to team direction, work autonomously, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards in order to contribute to a culture of performance excellence.
  • Welldeveloped written, verbal communication and customer service skills including ability to liaise appropriately with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability in IT software programs, including Planning tools and presentation software.
  • Demonstrated skills in Project Management, data analysis and management and interpretation of ICT requests.
  • Ability in delivering presentations, consultation, and communication with stakeholders on ICT issues of moderate complexity.
  • Ability to assist Project Managers to manage projects to be completed on time and within budget.
