As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, we are seeking a Project Officer accountable for assisting with the coordination and delivery of CSPD projects and initiatives.


The Project Officer is accountable for:

  • Gathering, validating and documenting customer requirements for new products.
  • Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements for the implementation of a Contracts Management Tool (VendorPanel CMT) across CSPD.
  • Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of proposed solutions and outlining potential impacts.
  • Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood.
  • Work closely with internal functional teams to support internal business transition and change or support customers to establish change for their new processes.

In addition:

  • Running product overview meetings to share with internal stakeholders on what is possible with the product (CMT).
  • Introduce the onboarding templates to internal stakeholders to complete in order to successfully onboard the CMT and get the required information for the templates from internal SMEs.
  • Explain, clarify, and assist the client where required to onboard them successfully to their new system (CMT) or their new functionality.
  • Answer questions about the product to internal stakeholders after understanding this from VendorPanel, and then ensure the client feels supported and enthusiastic during implementation processes.
  • Interpret CSPD's needs relating to functionality and assist in implementing the system, to support stakeholders' desired business outcomes
  • Reviewing the system to ensure it has been set up in accordance with the templates.
  • Provide training for users on their new system or functionality.

  • Lateral thinker thinking outside the box
  • Demonstrated creative and innovative ideas
  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
