About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a 3-5 year Lawyer in our highly regarded Government Advisory team.

Working alongside Partner Kate Oliver, this role will provide advice to clients in local government on administrative law, governance, contractual matters and statutory interpretation.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that does high-quality work where you will be well supported with your training and development.


About you
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Currently be working as a Solicitor, ideally with experience in government advisory work, and have strong interest in administrative law and statutory interpretation.
  • You may have a background of working in government and keen to make the first move into a law firm. Alternatively you will be doing similar work in another firm and looking for a new opportunity.
  • You will have strong drafting skills, exposure to contract drafting and interpretation, excellent communication and organisation skills and a collegiate approach to your work.


This role offers a great opportunity for you to develop your skills and progress your career working autonomously across a wide breadth of government advisory work.
