About the role
We are searching for motivated, reliable, confident, switched on trainees to join the IT team of an exciting company.

Working alongside true professionals you will gain extensive experience in IT support, and exposure to working in a highly regarded business with an international brand.

While assisting the IT team deliver quality service to stakeholders, you will gain experience across a range of areas including:

  • Using core office software, systems, processes and procedures
  • Undertaking desk and/or computer moves as well as computer setups
  • Basic troubleshooting
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving of hardware orders and hardware and inventory management
  • Delivering computer accessories to staff
  • Ensuring the storeroom is organised
  • Assisting the IT department with other daytoday tasks
  • Confluence Cloud migration tasks

With the support of your supervisor, you will also be required to:

  • Follow standard practices and procedures for escalation of issues
  • Communicate professionally with the team and other users
  • The knack for learning technical tasks and systems & troubleshooting
  • A confident, friendly nature you'll enjoy talking to people
  • Neat and tidy presentation & a mature outlook
  • The ability to thrive in a busy environment that can change from day to day
  • Experience in customer service or retail if you have work experience in IT, even better
  • IT skills and a true interest in all things IT related;
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
