Job Overview.
We are seeking qualified and experienced Commercial Cleaners to join our dedicated team in Residential Aged Care.

As a Commercial Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for residents.

Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of our clients' residents and staff.

Responsibilities.

Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including resident rooms, communal areas, entry foyer and reception, lounge, and dining room areas, nurse's stations, kitchen, laundry, utility room, treatment room, staff room, hair salon, outdoor courtyard areas, cleaners' room, communal bathrooms/ staff toilets/ visitors, and offices following the highest standards of cleanliness.

• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and ensure all cleaning products and equipment are used safely and appropriately.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, promptly reporting any maintenance or restocking needs to the appropriate authority.
• Assist with duties, ensuring residents' personal items are handled with care and returned promptly.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and care teams to identify and address cleanliness and safety concerns within the facility.
• Uphold the core values of Residential Aged Care, treating residents, staff, and visitors with compassion, respect, and dignity.

Qualifications and Experience.

• Proven experience as a Commercial Cleaner, preferably in an aged care or healthcare setting desirable.
• Understanding of best practices in maintaining a hygienic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• A commitment to upholding Residential Aged Care's values and promoting a positive and caring atmosphere.
