About the Role

As a Technical Lead in our Software Build team, you'll be leading from the front and managing a team of highly skilled developers while delivering projects and supporting our architectural, functional and support teams.

This is a varied but challenging role to test your leadership skills as well as to show off your experience in technical analysis, design, and implementation of complex technical solutions.

Not only are you comfortable leading a team at all stages within the SDLC, but you will also be working closely with your peers often as a conduit between your team, architects, and consultants.

Our projects are typically end-to-end deliveries, making use of fit-for-purpose tooling ranging from React, Angular and other SPA frameworks on the user experience front, through to cutting-edge cloud-based technologies on the back end, primarily Microsoft.

What you'll bring

  • Extensive commercial experience as a software developer with experience leading a technical team
  • Ability and interest to coach and mentor team members from a technical aspect and align team members to Datacom internal strategy to help grow and foster a positive team culture back into the business
  • Experience in.
NET, JavaScript/Typescript, SPA libraries/frameworks, SQL, NoSQL databases, Microservices, Cloud computing, Containers and DevOps

  • A problemsolving mindset and ability to adapt quickly
  • Willingness to share knowledge, zest to learn and grow in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong consultancy background with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts across a range of customer stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in identifying new opportunities and problems to solve and working with customers to explore and lead the best possible outcomes.
