A fantastic opportunity for a Middle & Senior Software Engineer specializing in Integrations and Automation to join Domain in the Enterprise Platforms team. The main focus will be on building a variety of services to connect data and systems, streamline workflows, and deliver applications to enhance efficiency for our internal users.

Working closely with the team lead, you will collaborate with our engineering teams to understand how different services are utilized in the organization to achieve goals, aiming to integrate them in ways that increase their value.

The integration projects will span various areas like Technology, Finance, People Experience, and Commercial departments. You'll work together with other engineering teams, solution architects, product managers, and stakeholders to optimize value for the Domain Group.

The ideal candidate will...

  • Engage in the entire development lifecycle, including scoping, estimating, and refining the backlog
  • Develop internal systems, create workflows and applications, and deploy services using AWS
  • Establish our CI/CD and AWS hosting infrastructure with CDK
  • Construct low-code tools to speed up work processes and automation for stakeholders
  • Evaluate and design integrations between our services
  • Enhance Domain's developer experience by backing a hybrid delivery model through standardized integration and automation platforms
  • Innovate, experiment, and implement creative service improvements and integrations
  • Work directly with employees and business leaders to grasp business challenges
  • Take part in sprint planning sessions
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and planning

Desired Attributes

  • Solid C# and .NET development background
  • Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
  • Proficient in APIs, REST, Data structures such as JSON, SSL, and event-driven systems
  • Sound understanding of any RDBMS
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment mechanisms
  • Commercial experience in building integration services
  • Eager to contribute, learn, and collaborate within a team environment
  • Motivated to solve complex business issues rather than opting for temporary solutions
  • Strive to work efficiently and intelligently
