We collaborate with architects, interior designers, chief engineers, government contractors, and builders to deliver top-notch and innovative projects within various markets including Commercial, Education, Health, Hospitality, Commercial, and Residential.

About the Role

We are currently in search of an experienced Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring timely completion of month-end and year-end financial statement preparation with detailed commentaries for the group (5 Companies).
  • Accountable for balance sheet reconciliation including bank reconciliation.
  • Preparing daily and weekly cash flow reports and forecasting cash flow.
  • Handling the preparation and lodgment of BAS and FBT returns.
  • Management of Fixed Assets.
  • Providing support to external tax accountants on all tax-related matters.
  • Overseeing Accounts Payable and Payroll processes.
  • Monitoring trade facilities and banking affairs.
  • Reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
  • Taking charge of managing Credit Card and Insurance affairs.
  • Assisting in budgeting and forecasting tasks.
  • Collaborating with the Group Financial Controller and managers on various analytical and project-based work.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has prior experience in a similar capacity.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
  • Possesses a solid grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Prior experience in Manufacturing, Project-based accounting, Pronto, Xero, and Cognos BI is highly advantageous.
