Role Summary

We have an exciting opening for a committed Sleep Technician for day shifts. As a daytime Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch sleep diagnostic and treatment services to adult patients and research participants at our state-of-the-art clinical sleep research center. Your key role will involve providing technical and clinical assistance to the Clinic and Diagnostic Service, conducting diagnostic polysomnographic testing, and contributing to quality assurance and staff training activities. Ultimately, as a Polysomnography Technician, you will administer comprehensive testing and interventions under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction
  • Efficient patient monitoring and high-quality sleep study execution
  • Conduct day studies such as MSLT/MWT/actigraphy
  • Arrange home ambulatory sleep studies
  • Accurately analyze and report on sleep studies
  • Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control, and maintain patient records
  • Operate and maintain sleep study equipment effectively

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in patient care within a sleep laboratory environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting day studies and scoring according to AASM standards
  • Experience in patient data management and adherence to standard procedures
  • Technical expertise in sleep acquisition systems and related equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
  • Knowledge of infection control practices
  • Familiarity with sleep software (Nexus 360, Profusion)
