Job Description:
Shift Leader

We are currently seeking experienced Shift Leaders responsible for upholding high-quality food standards and motivating our staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the restaurant's cleanliness, profitability, and quality goals are achieved. You will oversee efficient restaurant operations, maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in managing the dining room, engaging with customers, and ideally, back-of-the-house management experience to oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

We expect you to lead by example and support our staff during busy periods in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will be accountable for ensuring the smooth running of our restaurant and ensuring customers have enjoyable dining experiences.
Main shifts will be 2pm to 9.30pm

Have or willing to obtain food safety certificate

Full training will be provided

Your duties will include coordinating daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations, delivering exceptional service, handling customer complaints efficiently and accurately, organizing and supervising shifts, forecasting future needs for supplies, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, managing the restaurant's reputation, identifying strategies to minimize waste, suggesting methods to reach a broader audience (e.g., discounts and social media ads), opening and closing the restaurant, training new employees in proper customer service practices, and running a fun and profitable shift.
