About You

  • You hold a current NSW drivers licence.
  • You have minimum Tertiary Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration or Social Work with AASW membership or Counselling or Community Welfare, or Master's Degree Clinical Psychology with endorsement to practice as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA OR Tertiary Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Inc. Div. 1 AHPRA registration) with relevant post grad qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their post grad study.
  • You have postgraduate experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.
  • You have exceptional time management skills and can carefully plan, organise, and prioritise tasks, whilst meeting service demands.

Where you'll be working
The Mental Health Clinician role within CAMHS is based at Gosford Gateway Centre.


The CAMHS team provides assertive outreach and intensive case management, specifically aimed at engaging young people aged years experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems/disorders.

Liaising with relevant agencies and actively participating in case conferences and team meetings concerning the care of young people and support of families, ensuring families and carers have input into assessments, care plans and reviews where appropriate.

This position is graded for the following

  • Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2

This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
