Our client is a leading property investment and funds management company, that is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Property Portfolio Manager to join this dynamic team.


As the Retail Property Portfolio Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing and optimising the performance of this retail property portfolio.


Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of a diverse retail property portfolio, ensuring effective management and enhancing the value of each property.
  • Monitor and analyse the financial performance of the retail properties, including rent collection, budgeting, and cost controls, to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee the daytoday operations of the retail properties, coordinating with property management teams to ensure proper maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the retail portfolio, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends to drive growth and optimise returns.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to enhance the value and attractiveness of the retail properties, such as renovation projects, tenant mix optimisation, and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, occupancy rates, financial metrics, and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, property owners, leasing agents, and local authorities, to ensure effective communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Minimum of 9 +years of experience in retail property management or related field, with a focus on portfolio management.
  • Proven track record in effectively managing retail property portfolios, optimising financial performance, and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of lease agreements, commercial real estate, and property management principles and practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with tenants, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and implement innovative solutions.
  • Excellent financial acumen and proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
