You will be responsible for completing a range of cabinet making tasks starting with the basics and advancing through to the most complex tasks throughout your apprenticeship.

You will be responsible for completing all apprenticeship training to a satisfactory standard.

Key areas of responsibility
Working in a specialised solid timber environment. We deal exclusively with solid timber. We fabricate custom Entry Doors, Bench tops, Step Treads and other custom timber components. We provide our employees with valuable knowledge of the timber industry, creating sought-after and specialised employees. You will get full training in the use of bandsaws, thicknessers, planers and other specialist joinery tools.

A wide and varied range of skills to help take you to the next level and have you ready for the future in Cabinetmaking.

Qualifications and Experience

• No experience is required to undertake an apprenticeship, however an interest in working with solid timber would be required
• Ability to follow instructions & safety procedures
• Capable of working autonomously once trained and an eagerness to learn and succeed
• Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$ $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
• Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Queanbeyan, NSW 2620: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver Licence (preferred)
