About The Role
An excellent opportunity exists for Allied Health Assistants to join our Multidisciplinary Team on a casual basis.

You will work under the guidance and direction of our supportive Allied Health Professionals within our Rehabilitation and Acute stream services.


Duties will include:

  • Conducting group activities/exercise sessions and individual treatments as allocated.
  • Preparation of therapy areas, equipment and materials.
  • Assisting in patient escorting/transport to and from Gymnasium and therapy areas.
  • Assisting in departmental / service administrative tasks and maintaining resources.
  • Inspecting and maintaining mobility aids/rehabilitation equipment for safety and function.
  • May be required to work across campuses

Your Skills and Experiences
This role will suit an individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who thrives on working within a team. Ideally you will have had previous experience within a health care setting working within individual/group environments.

The ability to communicate effectively with clients / colleagues and a positive, enthusiastic approach to your work will be key to your success in this role.


You will also bring:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and client centred focus.
  • Sound computer skills
  • Recent, relevant experience in a hospital/rehabilitation environment and Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance will be highly desirable
