What you will be doing as a Disability Support Worker:

  • In-home care services
  • Assisting in accessing social activities
  • Providing emotional and psychological support
  • Developing daily life skills

About you:

  • Prior experience in disability support or personal care, or relevant qualifications such as Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability, Nursing Student, PCW, AIN, EN, RN, etc. preferable
  • Empathy and patience
  • Enthusiasm for providing disability support
  • Some knowledge of NDIS preferable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Multilingual preferable

Requirements:

  • ABN Sole Trader


 Blue Card
  • Working with Children Clearance or willingness to obtain


 Yellow Card
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • National Police Check (Australian criminal record check) or willingness to obtain
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module and New Worker NDIS Module
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Australian Driver's License
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance coverage
  • COVID19 and Influenza Vaccination
