Are you an immediately available payroll candidate and looking for a new long term contract opportunity?

This is new Payroll Specialist opportunity for an experienced end to end payroll processing candidate. The role will be an ongoing 6+ month contract position with likely extension offered.

You will be working as part of a supportive HR team based in the central Sydney CBD office. The office is very close to public transport (train & bus).

This is a monthly payroll processing for 80+ Australian employees on a monthly basis. This is a standalone role and you will be responsible for the payroll function. You will be working closely with ADP for the processing, checking and reviewing all information. Preferably you will have experience working with ADP and strong excel skills.

This role offers the successful candidate the benefit of hybrid working (3/2 split from office & home). The salary on offer is C. $50 - $60/hour + super depending on experience.

This role would be suited to those looking to start a new payroll specialist position immediately or with a short notice.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation and processing of the monthly payroll. Working collaboratively with both the HR and Finance team to ensure this is up to date and accurate. Calculate payroll taxesPrepare FBT returns for lodgement with ATOManage employer superannuation and ensure superannuation payments are made on timeMaintain employee records and update with any payroll deductions.Maintenance of the Payroll System ADP Assist with some HR administrative duties in relation to employee benefits, records, maintenance of HR intranet Preferred candidate skills and experience: Previous payroll processing experience is expected. Ability to carry out related payroll calculations and running of reports during month end is desired.Previous experience with the ADP payroll system is preferred but not essential.Ability to interpret new awards and remain up to date with new payroll legislation is expected.
