Pathology Collector

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Pathology Collector to join our clinics located in Cowes, Epping, Hawthorn, Keysborough and Mernda

This is a modern clinic which has a diverse patient demographic and conveniently located with easy access via local/city roads and freeways.

Also readily accessible by public transport and has onsite parking for patients and staff

Surgery hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Specific duties include;

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients
• Collection of Respiratory Swabs
• Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens
• Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner

Skills and experience;

• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience
• Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone
• Exceptional time management skills
• Flexible to work across different sites
• Sound clinical knowledge
• A valid Driver's License
• Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team referring, doctors, patients and other stakeholders
• Ability to work alone and participate in week day and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
• Basic computer skills
• Right to work in Australia

Salary:
From $60,000.00 per year
