Gowling Stairs is a leading manufacturer and supplier of timber staircases in Melbourne.
We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of timber staircases with some of Australia's biggest builders.
With over 35 years' experience, Gowling Stairs is renowned for exceptional quality in providing staircase and balustrade systems throughout Victoria and New South Wales.
Due to recent growth we have a number of positions available for the right person to join our successful team based in Vermont.
Working with qualified and skilled staircase builders, you will be taught all areas of factory and onsite methods to develop into a skilled and qualified carpenter / joiner.
As an apprentice your duties will include assembly, repairs, working with machinery and maintaining the workshop in a clean and safe manner.
To be successful you will need to have the following:
Must Have
- Driver licence
- Own car
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- High level of attention to detail
- Physically fit and capable
- Reliable and hardworking
- Be a confident communicator
Preferred but not essential:
- Experience in the field
- Own tools
This will be an excellent opportunity for the right person to join our hard-working team and gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support throughout your apprenticeship.
