The Role

The Senior Producer is a key player in the Bastion Make, Production Department, working across a range of social channels and formats (broadcast, print, digital, video, and social) with Sydney and Melbourne teams across multiple accounts and delivering multiple projects concurrently. The Producer role will build strong relationships with creative and group engagement leads, champion the production team's workflow nationally, be successful in building additional production revenue streams and deliver best in class creative.

The Senior Producer will work and support the Production Team as a whole, managing the in-house Studio Team, scheduling and resourcing; booking designers freelance if required, and ensuring all deliverables are delivered to the appropriate media channel on time. They are integral in training up junior members of staff, and will work in a leadership capacity to help drive process, change and learning. They manage jobs through the production pathway, as well as manage communication and paperwork internally with job completion reports, reconciliation and with external suppliers like Kids Guardian and CAD, negotiating and estimating all Global usages, and general administration for the Production team. They will work across more photography, print & digital marketing delivery (Banners, Mrecs, etc) working alongside the National Production team.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Production Management and execution of jobs as per MD allocations across integrated platforms– Print, OOH, TVC, TVC adapts, radio, content, social, talent and music rollovers, photography. Overseeing the production of assigned companyprojects & management of briefs, pre-production and shoots. Ensuring best in class creative, quality of work, timely delivery, and effective communication throughout.
  • Maintaining excellent stakeholder communication and management – from clients, to internal Bastion stakeholders, to external suppliers through consistent WIPS/Daillies, PPMs, and contact reports. Develop and maintain strong industry relationships – both internaland external, and a passion for looking to grow opportunities with both our clients and our internal and external relationships.
  • Quoting production internally for Bastion, including Print, Social, Adapts or post for all shoots. Trafficking Studio and management of workflow for our finished artist and retoucher – Scheduling and resourcing for their work as well as the team's post production needs. Managing and trackingof studio resources ensuring timely deliveryof allocated company work.
  • Managing project budgets as assigned by producers and ensuring projects are delivered to budget, with accurate reporting on results from each job across both internal and external resources.
  • Responsible and accountability for administration processes such as supplier invoices, receipts, accountability finance system.
  • Actively look for and discuss ways to improve business performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability on a job-by-job basis.Solutions focussed producer.
  • Maintaining a talent rollover database, including organising Child Welfare paperwork through Talentpay.
  • Day to Day Delivery - Managing CAD approvals, Ingesting masters into Adstream/Peach, Dub dispatch, talent rollovers and usage requests, Organising Production Go Sees.
  • Open to working in different mediums
  • Excellent Risk Mitigation – ensuring that effective versioning control is followed across all projects. Act as a point of contact and counsel for members of the account management when communicating changes, control and risks to clients or other critical stakeholders. Ensure the broader team adheres to process and generates necessary documentation to track changes, manage controls and map risks for effective management.
  • Performing all other reasonable duties as requested by Bastion Make MD.
  • Complying with all Bastion Policies and Procedures, as amended from time to time.
