About the role

  • Assist the Centre Director and 2IC in the development and delivery of best practice, high quality educational programs and care
  • Mentor and lead the team to achieve best practice and maintain high standards across delivered programs
  • Lead and support Educators to embed critical reflection as part of their everyday to ensure we are always striving for excellence
  • Work in consultation with the Centre Director and 2IC in the Assessment and Rating process and working towards outcomes on the Quality Improvement Plan
  • Support educators to understand the National Quality Framework and incorporate in practice along with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Green Leaves through the provision of professional learning opportunities and mentoring
  • Support, guide and develop a strong positive culture representing Green Leaves values and reputation in being a service recognised for excellence.
  • Be available to work 37.5 hours each week, on rotating shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm
Qualifications required

  • Current ACECQA approved Diploma/Bachelor qualification
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
  • Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one
