One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experience Project Manager to work on major infrastructure projects across their network. You will be responsible for all aspects of delivery including managing schedules and budgets ensuring panel suppliers are delivering on time and to a high standard. The role will be based in Canberra with the successful Project Manager to be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining all project artefacts across initiation, planning and execution
  • Monitoring progress and work across projects to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes
  • Updating key stakeholders on project milestones
  • Developing budget forecast, financial track and risk management status reports

The successful Project Manager will have experience in the following:

  • Experience working on a complex project and demonstrated high level of understanding of project management practices
  • Project Management qualifications such as Prince2, PMBOK and Agile
  • Demonstrated experience of managing outsourced contractors
  • Ability to meet tight timeframes and deliver work priorities to a high standards
