As a new graduate speech pathologist, your responsibilities will include; conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based therapy to children and adults.

You will provide services such as; speech & articulation, expressive & receptive language skills, literacy skills (reading & spelling), stuttering, developing smooth or fluent speech, motor speech, cognitive communication, social communication skills, voice control, dysarthria (unclear speech), aphasia (language difficulties), dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), apraxia of speech, listening & comprehension skills and using alternative communication such as Key Word Sign, PECS, PODD & other AAC.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for writing comprehensive reports and treatment plans for NDIS and private clients, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and actively participating in ongoing professional development. In this role, you will gradually increase your caseload to 18 billable hours (per week) over 6 months, which includes face-to-face consultations, report writing, and travel.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
