Our team of ecologists work collaboratively to provide specialist ecology services and work alongside other specialist teams in SLR to deliver a variety of multidisciplinary projects throughout the state and APAC region.
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for ambitious Graduates to join SLR's Ecology Team in Perth.

Key Responsibilities

Job tasks and responsibilities

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders across the region and provide you with support on your technical growth within the wider SLR team.


  • As part of a growing team in SLR, you will be responsible for carrying out services and tasks that includes undertaking field preparation and surveys, health and safety documentation data entry, GIS and reporting. As a selfstarter, you will be able to display confidence and an eagerness to learn and as an outcome you will be taught how to become an environmental/botanical consultant.
    Skills and experience
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resources or in another related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, high computer literacy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, selfmotivation, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables on competing timeframes.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of flora and field surveys, is desirable.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Exposure to/understanding of the consulting industry, is desirable.
  • Australian citizenship or rights to work in Australia.
