Daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service.
  • Maintains current product knowledge of bakery items.
  • Moves product filled oven racks. Un
- trays product from baking pans onto packaging. Garnishes baked goods according to item requirements; stacks used baking pans on pan dollies.

  • Scales finished products and records on weight verification sheets.
  • Packages and wraps baked goods by hand or wrapping machine according to merchandise manual.
  • Used racks or carts to move or stock wrapped product onto tables and pallets. Responsible to maintain date rotation and merchandising presentation throughout the day.
  • Assists with other bakery duties as needed.
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.
  • Completes and complies with Costco policies of Costco policies of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification and all Safety training required by warehouse and department.
  • Assists with monthly inventory.

Non - Essential Functions and Task:

  • Assists with front end duties as necessary.
  • Assists in other department of the warehouse as necessary.
