MPU Fitter - Northern Bowen Basin*:

- Closing date: 30/04/2023Action Drill & Blast is a leading provider of integrated drilling and blasting services in Australia.
We have several MPU/MMU trucks across our blasting Projects in the Bowen Basin.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Perform scheduled servicing across our MPU trucks-
- Performing unscheduled repairs-
- Prioritising workloads or unscheduled repairs when required-
- Supervising and/or coaching the activities of Trainee Fitters-
- Maintaining and servicing light vehicles, support trucks and trailers-
- Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs
ESSENTIAL Skills and requirements include: - Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Light Vehicle / Heavy Vehicle. Auto Electrical is advantageous.-
- Hand Tools-
- Australian HR Class Drivers Licence-
- Previous MPU Truck Maintenance Experience
- High level of diagnostic skills and field service fault finding is highly regarded
QESC
- Queensland Explosives Security Clearance
- Standard 11
DESIRABLE skills include:
- Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Action Drill and Blast Drill fleet product knowledge
- Previous Heavy Vehicle maintenance experience
- Ability to work autonomously
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Working at Heights
- EWP
