We are currently looking for a
Casual Community Support Workers to join our team of support service professionals and help make a difference in our client's lives in
Parramatta NSW and surrounds, areas include but are not limited to
:Riverstone & St Johns Park.

Applicants must be available for a minimum of 3-4 shifts per week (excluding weekends). _

Thursday evening availability preferred_

Applicants must be able to travel to surrounding locations with a minimum of 25KM._

What We Offer:

  • Rate of
    $ $41.54 per hour (Inclusive of 25% Casual Loading) pending experience and qualifications.
  • Rosters set 46 weeks in advance.
  • Prioritize work/life/study balance.
  • Supportive, knowledgeable and friendly management team.
  • 1 day informative induction training at our head office in Auburn NSW.
  • Training prior to commencing induction on the following: Medication, Behaviour, Infection Control, Mealtime Management & Acquired Brain Injury.
  • Buddy shifts & detailed handovers prior to commencing allocated shifts.
  • Ongoing learning, continuous client specific training and career progression opportunities.

Your new role will include:

-
Provide 1:1 quality support and meet the requirements of the clients based on their individual needs and in line with their goals.

  • Assist our clients to live independently in their
    own homes
:

  • Assist clients in accessing the community
  • Assist clients in achieving rehabilitation goals
  • Provide personal care
  • Support clients with judgment and decision making
  • Monitor client behaviour
  • Maintain accurate records and report writing
  • Provide feedback to the relevant Client Services Manager.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • An appropriate certificate relevant to the work required to be performed
  • Previous experience in a related industry or service to undertake the range of activities required.

What you will need to Succeed:

  • Driver License and use of a registered vehicle
  • First Aid Certificate (HLTAID01
  • Provide first aid)
  • NDIS Workers Check
  • Up to date COVID19 Vaccination Certificate (Normally 2 vaccinations + Booster)
