The Application integration Tester is responsible for integration testing.

The Application Integration Tester will conduct testing and evaluation activities, including test creation, implementation and reporting activities and interaction with the technical teams.

This role provides a significant contribution to enhancing overall capacity to meet the information technology needs of the Warfighter.

The Integration Tester will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:

  • Development and execution of test plans, products and services to meet organization standards and end
- user requirements.

  • Develop test cases, and procedures, and provide insight into the software test timing, and approach.
  • Conduct walkthroughs on test cases/scripts with Test Managers, Requirements Leads, Project Managers and Development Leads.
  • Write test cases and scripts and assist in identifying test data requirements for test scenarios.
  • Analyse Operational Concepts and Functional Requirements to assist in the creation of testing scenarios and use cases, to be developed into realistic test outcomes.
  • Report to the Technical Lead \ Product Line Lead in relation to status of activities, identified risks and task completion at a high enough level to allow upward communication through the organisation chain of command.
  • Supporting the Applications Product Line Manager through the provision of timely advice pertaining to, schedule and risk associated with Application T&E activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Test and Evaluation tools, frameworks and implementation.
  • Demonstrable experience in software testing as part of a Dev/Sec/Ops delivery pipeline, including experience with test automation, continuous testing, and version control.
  • Exposure to testing for environments with varying levels of required security, caveats and controls.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas.
  • Ability to analyze complex requirements and design documents to create detailed test cases and scripts.

Desirable:

  • Strong knowledge of system and software testing throughout the lifecycle including integration and testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience working in highly secure environments.
  • Experience with the implementation, assessment and testing of capabilities defined within a Software Defined Datacentre model.
  • Have experience and understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, testing and engineering practices inline with Dev/Sec/Ops requirements.

Security Clearance:

  • Have and maintain a
    Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance and ability to upgrade to NV2 as required and requested by the Commonwealth.
