We are looking for a Jira Administrator to join our Adaptive Management Office (AMO).
As the Jira Administrator, you will be focused on creating, modifying, configuring, and optimising workflows, schemes, and permissions.

Reporting to the Senior Reporting Analyst the role is collaborative and will work with key stakeholders to understand functional data requirements.


This role seeks to assist in ensuring the SIP Programs, IT Lifecycle initiatives, Client funded initiatives and other Domain initiatives are delivered to a level of quality as defined while mitigating risks.


This will be achieved through:

  • Continuously improving the Adaptive Management Office (AMO) practice.
  • Providing accurate, timely information and insights into the portfolio value being delivered to a range of stakeholder groups (including the Leadership team) to allow for informed decision making.
  • The position works closely with the Senior Reporting Analyst, Head of AMO, Agile Coaches/ Scrum master's within the Domain squads, the Client Delivery Group team along with the Group Finance and Planning team and the Cuscal Community of Practices at large.
As the Jira Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • JIRA System Administration; setting up users, creating/modifying/configuring/optimising workflows, importing data, workflows, configuration, schemes and permissions
  • Understanding business requirements, and customising Atlassian products including JIRA, Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management and Confluence
  • Design and build optimised business processes and workflows in Jira.
  • Provide recommendations and feedback on requests to workflow changes and business processes.
  • Delivering improved digital based reporting by creating reports and dashboards in Power BI, Jira, SharePoint, and other tools.
  • Assessing previous trends and patterns to tie data together and ensure data integrity.
  • Identifying and developing key methodologies and reports to review the quality of data.
  • Streamlining and automating existing reports as well as analyse data to identify insights and provide recommendations.

About You
To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience:

  • 2+ years of related experience deploying, administering and/or configuring Jira.
  • Deep product knowledge of JIRA & Confluence including administrations, plugins, and customisations.
  • Ability to extract insights and trends from portfolio data.
  • Ability to understand and translate business requirements into simplified easy to use business insights tools.
  • Understanding of Scrum e.g., Agile ceremonies such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Showcase/Reviews
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously.
