Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and identify potential hazards.
  • Lead and coordinate risk assessments and safety planning for new and ongoing projects.
  • Deliver HSE training and induction programs to employees, contractors, and site visitors.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to integrate HSE practices into all project phases.
  • Keep uptodate with industry best practices, legislative changes, and emerging safety trends.
  • Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience in largescale construction projects, with a focus on Tier 1 projects.
  • Relevant HSE qualifications, Degree or Certificate
  • Experience working on large scale building projects from $100m upwards
  • Indepth knowledge of local and national HSE regulations and standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and safety inductions.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
