Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient consultations to diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions.
- Develop and manage patient care plans, ensuring continuity of care and patient satisfaction.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies appropriately.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care as required.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Provide preventive care, health education, and advice to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide holistic care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records in compliance with legal standards.
- Participate in medical centre meetings, professional development, and ongoing education activities.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with AHPRA.
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent.
- Significant experience working as a GP in a clinical setting, preferably in a medical centre environment.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with medical software and electronic health records.
