One of Australia's Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Digital Accessibility Specialist to design and develop world class accessible digital products and systems. The successful Digital Accessibility Specialist to be offered a 12 month contract + 12 month extension
The successful Digital Accessibility Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Providing high-quality, accurate, and timely advice about user behaviour and digital accessibility.
- Design and delivery of usability testing with people with disability.
- Lead any accessibility-related design and development work
The successful Digital Accessibility Specialist will have the following:
- A solid knowledge of interaction and content design principles, best practices, industry trends.
- Understanding of web technologies such as web browsers, the basics of system architectures, and the workings of common assistive technologies
- Basic skills with and knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript or common front-end frameworks.
