    About the Role:

A terrific opportunity is available for a general Maths teacher to join a Secondary School in Melton in Term 1, 2024.

Instructing students in years 7-10 in general maths, join this co-educational school which caters to approximately 1500 students spanning from years 7-12, welcoming of both seasoned educators and recent graduates.


Key duties:

  • Collaborate within a supportive Maths faculty, teaching students in years 710
  • Create and formulate comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum materials adhering to Australian curriculum standards in Mathematics
  • Conduct dynamic and impactful classroom instruction, cultivating a positive and enriching learning atmosphere
  • Demonstrate a dedication to ongoing professional development and growth
  • Embrace the educational philosophy of the school, with an understanding that adherence to the Islamic faith is not mandatory, and there are no strict dress requirements.

Skills & Experience:

  • Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
  • Maintain a valid and uptodate VIT registration
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Demonstrate previous experience in teaching General Maths
  • Ability to provide contact details for two educationbased references from within the last 5 years (studentteacher mentors are acceptable).
